Commercial Sod Installation

For all of our commercial sod clients, we here at Total Landscape Management are dedicated to providing only the best professional sod services.

What can our team help you with? Soil preparation, specialized installation options, and sod removal are all at the top of the list.

Budgets are big business, and we understand that. This is why we have worked hard with the landscape and commercial development community to get you the best bang for your buck.

Our commercial clients can expect these sod services from Total Landscape Management:

Small Roll Sod Installation

Both small roll and large roll sod grass are required to be installed for many of our commercial customers.

Coming in at 2 feet wide, 5 feet long, and about 40 pounds in weight. Total Landscape Management’s small sod rolls are easy to handle and perfect in all of the areas that big roll grass sod cannot be used. We make sure to prep long before we arrive, just so we can ensure the best possible installation. Our jobs include every single detail that can easily be overlooked. Including:

Marking every valve box and sprinkler head that needs to be sodded.

Making sure that your unfinished landscaping areas will come together nicely with the sod that we install. We are all about efficiency and logistics.

Removing the yard items in the area that must be sodded. We don’t waste time.

Coordinating with our clients to make sure that all traffic is kept off the lawn for two months after installation. This allows the new lawn to set properly.

Watering immediately after installation and even during if it happens to be a very warm day.

Naturally, we pay a lot of attention to clean up. We make sure to leave the worksites even better than when we found them. That’s our job!

We understand that speed and cost efficiency is important whether you are replacing damaged sod or installing brand-new sod in a new development. If you’re looking for a more efficient, higher quality sod that is also cost-effective, then we truly recommend big roll sod grass installation. It also has the added benefit of faster usability.

Including a smoother surface, fewer seams, and fewer edges to dry than you get with small roles and flaps, big rolls provide faster installation and allow us to apply water quickly. This means a lot less stress for your turf.

Sod Removal Services

Are fungus, watering problems, dog damage, or insects making your lawn look not attractive anymore? Our sod removal and replacement services will give you the best results.

If you are someone who is looking to make a new landscaping theme in your yard, our sod removal services can help you get a jump on that project.

Soil Preparation

What is the most important step in preparing a new lawn? Soil preparation is the one thing that will give you the most beautiful lawn possible for many years.

Note that you can sit back and relax when you entrust your soil preparation to us. We begin by tilling your soil at least 4 to 6 inches, and then adding compost that is suitable for the area. Your sod will be considered installed as soon as we have wrapped up the process with the fine grading.

Finish Grading

Drainage is perhaps the most important factor when it comes to establishing and maintaining commercial sod. Well-drained sites help sod grasses thrive. However, they will perish on poorly trained sites!

Before we begin sodding or do other sod installation operations, we recommend our commercial projects take on finish grading.

The finish grading we provide will make sure that you have adequate fall to help eliminate water and get the surface drainage you need.

Why should the finished grade be smooth? Because the sod will conform to whatever grade it’s installed on. If you want a smooth transition to the edge of the parking areas, walkways, and sidewalks, then the soil should be about 1/2 inch below the edge of the concrete.
